As the immortal bard said (sort of), “To cure or not to cure, that is the question.”  The original weren’t about autism, but the question’s the same when the question’s important.

Some people says that there needs to be a cure for autism.  Some of them is even autistic themselves.  They says that autism makes autistics suffer terribly and that’s why they hopes for a cure.

Some people says that a cure is wrong.  Some of them is even autistic themselves.  They says that autism gives them superpowers and all and that’s why they wants to be left as they is.

Me, I doesn’t know what to think.  Rion says that having autism means he got twice as many senses as normal people what got five (six if they was lucky enough to get extra sensory perception).  But I doesn’t know if having ten senses is good or bad.  Having that many means you gets more information from what’s around you, but having that many means maybe you get too much information.

But this blog is to #SaveRionMcNeally, so it’s time we #TalkAboutAutism and things like if there should or shouldn’t be a cure for autism.  Here’s the link to the poll (it ends a week from yesterday).

Vote and share this on social media, and ask your followers to put in their vote on this important question as well.
