Learning To Be Stupid

Autistics isn’t afraid of failure.  We gets told all the time by NTs how we doesn’t measure up to what NTs thinks we should be doing with our lives.  We doesn’t crumple up and stop trying.  We keep on being autistic as best we can.

Anyway, I read this here blog one of my mates in America sent to me.  It were on the New York Times site and it were about parents and teachers, and how they teach their children to be stupid.  It weren’t just about autistics but I’m guessing that most was thinking it were about autistics.

The blog said parents and teachers teaches autistics they can’t do nothing right by letting them not do chores and doing their homework for them.  I doesn’t know of any parents of autistic children not having them do at least some chores.  Most of them makes autistics put away their video games when they is done playing and things like that.

They says parents and teachers is learning autistics that they is stupid and can’t do things on their own.  I say that’s ridiculous. Some of the best hackers in the world today is autistic, and they was hacking back when they was children living at home so I doesn’t see how that blog is right.

And nobody helped them autistics learn how to hack when they was growing up.  Hacking weren’t something their parents was doing!

That’s why we has to get Rion McNeally back into the real world.  If he were advocating for autistics, these nonsense blogs wouldn’t get away with their fairy tales, would they now?

Addicted To Autism

I loved Robert Palmer and his music.  It don’t matter if he were singing solo or with one of them groups of his, he were one of them greats what everyone remembers long after they dies.

He did this here one song called “Addicted To Love” what had lots of lovely NTs in the video, acting all posh.  They wasn’t my type but they was Robert Palmer’s and I imagine that’s why they was picked to be in the video.

What’s all that got to do with autism, you ask?  Well, some research got done in Sweden lately and they says that autistics what’s smart is alcoholics and drug addicts and the likes.  If they has ADHD, they got it even worse they says.  I doesn’t know if I believes that mostly because I drink a pint once in a while and I isn’t an alcoholic, and I knows that Rion McNeally isn’t an alcoholic or a drug addict.

At least he weren’t when he got shoved into that hospital he’s been at for months.  Maybe he’s a drug addict now.  I heard tales of how some doctors likes to drug up autistics so they doesn’t talk or nothing.

But that proves my point, don’t it?  That’s why we has to work so hard to get Rion McNeally released from East Burmington Hospital.  We got to get him out before they makes him into a drug addicted lollygagging clump of humanity.

Here’s them hashtags again to help get the word about this here travesty.

Confusing The Issue

On Monday, I asked questions about a leading UK autism campaigner and if he were still a trustee for the NAS.  The NAS said on their website he weren’t a trustee with them no more.

The next day after I asked them questions on this blog, that autism campaigner tweeted out one of them long tweets.  The problem with his tweet is the answer he were giving because it were confusing.

update-from-kh-on-twitter_13-september-2016

If I reads that right, he says he is and isn’t a trustee of the NAS.  I doesn’t know what to believe mostly because of things he said before that doesn’t ring true.

People doesn’t have to worry about being confused when it comes to Rion McNeally, and that’s because if he’s in he’s in and if he’s out he’s out.  He don’t confuse the issue by being in and out at the same time.

It don’t surprise me that NTs got bad opinions about autistics when someone like this here leading UK autism campaigner is mixing them up like that.  They doesn’t appreciate being mixed up neither, so most of them isn’t very nice to autistics.

But Rion’s not like that.  He’s an autistic you can count on.  That’s why we has to spread the word so we can #SaveRionMcNeally and #freetheboy.
