Save Rion McNeally

Taking the whack out of knick knack!

About Autism and Video Games

It’s not enough that autism advocate Temple Grandin is talking about how horrible video games and technology is.  Now this here popular magazine called Time is doing the same thing.  It’s enough to make me wonder if them what’s talk about autism in the media ever met anyone what’s got autism.

If they met Rion McNeally, he’d set them straight on all this malarkey what gets published about autistics and video games.

Time magazine said two hundred studies proved that there’s a connection between ADHD and autism and screen addiction, aggression, depression, anxiety, and psychosis.  If you is like me, you wants to know what words mean so I looked up psychosis on the Internet.

Psychosis is a mental defect what makes people behave strangely or believe things that aren’t true which means you has lost touch with reality.  Seems to me that don’t describe no autistics I ever met, even them what plays hours of video games every single day, day in and day out.

But if video games is that dangerous to autistics, then Rion McNeally must be the safest of us all.  He’s been locked up at East Burmington Hospital for weeks now and he doesn’t have no access to technology while he’s in there.

We need to get him out so he can get back to advocating for autistics what need his help.  Spread the word of his plight and let’s #SaveRionMcNeally for the sake of all autistics.

Here’s them hashtags again.

Real World Experience

There’s this here autism expert by the name of Temple Grandin and seems everything she says about autism is something the media jumps all over and says is right.  I doesn’t know if what she says is right or wrong.  I doesn’t even know if she knows what autism really is exactly.

She were talking at lots of places lately, saying that video games and smart technology is bad for children with autism.  Says we needs to get autistics away from video games and such.

Obviously she don’t understand that technology is how autistics is able to function in the real world. Just look at how much that Pokemon Go game helped all them autistics what couldn’t go outside and socialize before.  If socializing thanks to a video game is bad, then I think this here Temple Grandin don’t know much about either autism or autistics.

Anyway, she were quoted by reporters saying that instead of video games, autistics need real world experience cleaning out cow stalls or something like that.  Then she said they needs to get jobs.  Well, I doesn’t know how many 10 year old autistics is gainfully employed seeing as a lot of autistics over the age of 18 doesn’t have jobs.  Ridiculous if you ask me.

If Rion McNeally were out of East Burmington Hospital, he could fight the good fight and educate people like that Grandin person.  Teach her a thing or two about how hard it is to live with autism and all.

So let’s get Rion released from hospital by sharing his story on social media with all your friends.  Remember to use these hashtags when you do.

Addicted To Autism

I loved Robert Palmer and his music.  It don’t matter if he were singing solo or with one of them groups of his, he were one of them greats what everyone remembers long after they dies.

He did this here one song called “Addicted To Love” what had lots of lovely NTs in the video, acting all posh.  They wasn’t my type but they was Robert Palmer’s and I imagine that’s why they was picked to be in the video.

What’s all that got to do with autism, you ask?  Well, some research got done in Sweden lately and they says that autistics what’s smart is alcoholics and drug addicts and the likes.  If they has ADHD, they got it even worse they says.  I doesn’t know if I believes that mostly because I drink a pint once in a while and I isn’t an alcoholic, and I knows that Rion McNeally isn’t an alcoholic or a drug addict.

At least he weren’t when he got shoved into that hospital he’s been at for months.  Maybe he’s a drug addict now.  I heard tales of how some doctors likes to drug up autistics so they doesn’t talk or nothing.

But that proves my point, don’t it?  That’s why we has to work so hard to get Rion McNeally released from East Burmington Hospital.  We got to get him out before they makes him into a drug addicted lollygagging clump of humanity.

Here’s them hashtags again to help get the word about this here travesty.
