Real World Experience

There’s this here autism expert by the name of Temple Grandin and seems everything she says about autism is something the media jumps all over and says is right.  I doesn’t know if what she says is right or wrong.  I doesn’t even know if she knows what autism really is exactly.

She were talking at lots of places lately, saying that video games and smart technology is bad for children with autism.  Says we needs to get autistics away from video games and such.

Obviously she don’t understand that technology is how autistics is able to function in the real world. Just look at how much that Pokemon Go game helped all them autistics what couldn’t go outside and socialize before.  If socializing thanks to a video game is bad, then I think this here Temple Grandin don’t know much about either autism or autistics.

Anyway, she were quoted by reporters saying that instead of video games, autistics need real world experience cleaning out cow stalls or something like that.  Then she said they needs to get jobs.  Well, I doesn’t know how many 10 year old autistics is gainfully employed seeing as a lot of autistics over the age of 18 doesn’t have jobs.  Ridiculous if you ask me.

If Rion McNeally were out of East Burmington Hospital, he could fight the good fight and educate people like that Grandin person.  Teach her a thing or two about how hard it is to live with autism and all.

So let’s get Rion released from hospital by sharing his story on social media with all your friends.  Remember to use these hashtags when you do.

Zuma’s Revenge

A friend of mine and Rion’s were telling me that when I play Zuma’s Revenge on the Internet I’m throwing a spanner in the works instead of helping Rion get out of East Burmington Hospital.  I gave that a bit of thought trying to see things his way.

But you know, while people is playing games online, Rion don’t get to play no games at all.  I mean, he don’t get to play games except them games the doctors and nurses plays what messes with his mind.  If they wasn’t all playing games, Rion would be out of the hospital by now and the charges would be dropped, yes?

Any road, we is out here and Rion is in there, and we is out here playing Zuma’s Revenge and Rion is in there getting played for revenge.

The only way we can help Rion is by sharing the #SaveRionMcNeally campaign on social media.  If we is lucky, them #SaveNelly people is going to come over and join us so more people is saying Rion needs to be out of East Burmington Hospital right away.

As always, share this blog entry on social media using the regular hashtags.

Confusing The Issue

On Monday, I asked questions about a leading UK autism campaigner and if he were still a trustee for the NAS.  The NAS said on their website he weren’t a trustee with them no more.

The next day after I asked them questions on this blog, that autism campaigner tweeted out one of them long tweets.  The problem with his tweet is the answer he were giving because it were confusing.

If I reads that right, he says he is and isn’t a trustee of the NAS.  I doesn’t know what to believe mostly because of things he said before that doesn’t ring true.

People doesn’t have to worry about being confused when it comes to Rion McNeally, and that’s because if he’s in he’s in and if he’s out he’s out.  He don’t confuse the issue by being in and out at the same time.

It don’t surprise me that NTs got bad opinions about autistics when someone like this here leading UK autism campaigner is mixing them up like that.  They doesn’t appreciate being mixed up neither, so most of them isn’t very nice to autistics.

But Rion’s not like that.  He’s an autistic you can count on.  That’s why we has to spread the word so we can #SaveRionMcNeally and #freetheboy.
